Description

Font Awesome is the Internet's icon library and toolkit, used by millions of designers, developers, and content creators.

For versions 5 and 6 of Font Awesome (specifically 5.15.4 and 6.7.2), this package provides the font in TTF and WOFF2 formats. The package includes the icons.yml metadata file but not CSS files or NodeJS packages. The current version of the font is available in the fonts-font-awesome package, and the NodeJS package is available in the node-fortawesome-fontawesome-* packages.

For version 4.7.0 of Font Awesome, this package provides the font in the original upstream formats, but rebuilt from the SVG font. The package also provides the LESS, SCSS and CSS files, as older versions of the fonts-font-awesome package did, and these can be found in the same locations as before.

The fonts in this package are built from the SVG sources, and are not bitwise identical to the upstream versions.
