rrdcollect

Round-Robin-Database Collecting Daemon

RRDcollect is a daemon which polls certain files in /proc/ directory, gathering data and storing it inside RRDtool's database files. Being written in C it should be both fast and resources-friendly. It supports both scanf(3)-style pattern matches and perl compatible regular expressions.

rrdtool-tcl

time-series data storage and display system (Tcl interface)

The Round Robin Database Tool (RRDtool) is a system to store and display time-series data (e.g. network bandwidth, machine-room temperature, server load average). It stores the data in Round Robin Databases (RRDs), a very compact way that will not expand over time. RRDtool processes the extracted data to enforce a certain data density, allowing for useful graphical representation of data values.

trac-announcer

enhanced e-mail notification system for Trac

The AnnouncerPlugin is meant to provide an extensible, user-customizable notification system that can be used to completely replace Trac's default notifications. It allows easy and flexible notifications about tickets, wiki page changes, and even Bitten builds.

rsh-client

client programs for remote shell connections

This package contains rsh, rcp and rlogin.

python-zconfig

Structured Configuration Library, for Python 2

ZConfig is a configuration library intended for general use. It supports a hierarchical schema-driven configuration model that allows a schema to specify data conversion routines written in Python. ZConfig's model is very different from the model supported by the ConfigParser module found in Python's standard library, and is more suitable to configuration-intensive applications.

python-zdaemon

daemon process control library and tools for Unix-based systems

`zdaemon` is a Python package which provides APIs for managing applications run as daemons. Its principal use to date has been to manage the application server and storage server daemons for Zope / ZEO, although it is not limited to running Python-based applications (for instance, it has been used to manage the 'spread' daemon).
