nuttcp
network performance measurement tool
nuttcp is a network performance measurement tool intended for use by network
and system managers. Its most basic usage is to determine the raw TCP (or UDP)
network layer throughput by transferring memory buffers from a source system
across an interconnecting network to a destination system, either transferring
data for a specified time interval, or alternatively transferring a specified
number of bytes.
pv
Shell pipeline element to meter data passing through
pv (Pipe Viewer) can be inserted into any normal pipeline between two
processes to give a visual indication of how quickly data is passing through,
how long it has taken, how near to completion it is, and an estimate of how
long it will be until completion.
du-dust
du + rust = dust. Like du but more intuitive.
dust is meant to give you an instant overview of which directories are using
disk space without requiring sort or head.
