dirmngr
GNU privacy guard - network certificate management service
dirmngr is a server for managing and downloading OpenPGP and X.509
certificates, as well as updates and status signals related to those
certificates. For OpenPGP, this means pulling from the public
HKP/HKPS keyservers, or from LDAP servers. For X.509 this includes
Certificate Revocation Lists (CRLs) and Online Certificate Status
Protocol updates (OCSP). It is capable of using Tor for network
access.
nautilus-compare
Context menu comparison extension for Nautilus file manager
Context menu file comparison extension for Nautilus 43 and above. It
provides "Compare", "Compare to ~/foo/bar" and "Compare Later" in Nautilus
context menu, by default using `meld` to do the comparison. Preferences
manager detects common diff tools on the system, providing an option to
choose which one is used for one-on-one, three-way or multi-compare.

mathematics framework (mostly matlab compatible)
FreeMat is a free environment for rapid engineering and scientific prototyping
and data processing. It is similar to commercial systems such as MATLAB from
Mathworks, and IDL from Research Systems, but is Open Source.
FreeMat is available under the GPL license.

SAGA GIS (System for Automated Geoscientific Analyses) is a free and
open source geographic information system used for editing and
analysing spatial data. It includes a large number of modules for the
analysis of vector (point, line and polygon), table, grid and image
data. Among others the package includes modules for geostatistics,
image classification, projections, simulation of dynamic processes
(hydrology, landscape development) and terrain analysis.
The functionality can be accessed through a GUI, the command line or
by using the C++ API.
