Most is a paging program that displays, one windowful at a time, the contents of a file on a terminal. A status line at the bottom of the screen displays the file name, the current line number and the percentage of the file so far displayed.

Maxima is a fully symbolic computation program. It is full featured doing symbolic manipulation of polynomials, matrices, rational functions, integration, Todd-coxeter methods for finite group analysis, graphing, multiple precision floating point computation. It has a symbolic source level debugger for maxima code. Maxima is based on the original Macsyma developed at MIT in the 1970s. It is quite reliable, and has good garbage collection, and no memory leaks. It comes with hundreds of self tests.

Collatinus can be used to lemmatise latin texts, i.e. extract words and make a lexicon which indicates for each word its canonic form, and how the form actually found in the text was derived from it, for instance by declining it. Example : rosam gives : rosa-rosae -- acc. sing. Collatinus provides a nice graphic front-end to each operation.
